First Training Course at SR Seminars

StoneRock Dental Care was extremely proud to host the first hands on training course of SR Seminars Ltd.

Ian and Russell have set up a training company to run lectures and hands on training courses for post graduate training for dentists and hygienists. The first course was stage 1 of the Total Endodontic Training programme which is presented by Dr Ian Kerr and Dr Richard Porter, Consultant of Restorative Dentistry at St Georges London.

The TET runs over three stages, each stage lasting 2 days. The course covers every aspect of endodontic treatment including the restoration of endodontically treated teeth, making it the only one of its kind in Kent and East Sussex.

Russell and Ian aim to run a course a month at StoneRock helping to bring bespoke training courses to all members of the dental team from practices through out Kent and East Sussex and beyond.

About Ian Kerr

Dr Ian Kerr BDS qualified in 1989 from Newcastle University Dental School and has worked ever since in both private practice and hospital settings. Following a short stint in a busy general practice in the North East Dr Kerr went to live and work in Trinidad, where he learnt a wide range of surgical skills and developed an interest in the treatment of tempero-mandibular joint dysfunction (TMD). On returning to the UK in 1994 Dr Kerr worked in a prestigious private practice in Bromley in Kent. During his time there he completed extensive post graduate training in advanced restorative techniques and further advanced his interest in TMD.
