The SAF endodontic System- It’s time to adapt to a new way of thinking.
I was delighted to be invited to the first dental seminar in the UK for the new SAF endodontic system. This revolutionary file represents a new approach to cleaning endodontic canals, which is likely to mean many more patients being able to keep their teeth for longer.
The system incorporates a fine hollow mesh that adapts to the shape of the canal and also allows a continuous irrigation of disinfecting solution to enter the full length of the canal while it works.
I have been working with the system for the past month and am the first dentist in the UK to do so. I am delighted to be returning to the follow on meeting on Saturday 4th September in London to report my first impressions to the key opinion leaders group. I have been very impressed with the technique and am certain to be using it in the future. I will also be involved with training other UK dentists in this technique and will be incorporating it in to the “Total Endodontic Training” program run by SR Seminars
