Dr Ian Kerr and his nurse Amie Leadbeater have just completed an extensive postgraduate course in the advanced aesthetic techniques that are used to dramatically improve people’s smiles.
As part of this four-day course they completed a complex ‘smile design’ case that transformed the looks of a very worn down set of teeth. Ian and Amie are both looking forward to incorporating many of the new skills that they have learnt in to their every day practice.
Dr Kerr has also just completed a six month long, correspondence course with the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London. This course was for consultants, specialists and general practioners with a special interest in restorative dentistry and took the form of monthly study assignments that were then examined. Out of a field of 79 participants, Dr Kerr finished in a highly respectable 8th place.
