Trauma? What Trauma?
These front two teeth took a nasty knock and the upper right central incisor lost most of the tooth above the gum, exposing the nerve in the process. Because this happened to teeth in a very young mouth I was keen to preserve the health of the nerve and do as little adjustment as possible to the teeth before repairing them. Beware the false smile
When people are very conscious about their teeth they will often, inadvertently, try to hide them from others. This is often seen as a "tight lipped" smile or a hand gesture to cover the mouth when smiling or laughing.
