The winter sports of Rugby, football and hockey can be very unkind to teeth. A well made and fitted sports guard, worn every time is essential. The alternative can be a nasty shock, a lot of tooth ache and potentially a life time of costly dentistry. Fortunately this young mans teeth may survive with little more than the direct filling they needed, but it could have been much worse.
